Coach Furtado brings over two decades of experience in education, athletics, and leadership to Springfield Elementary. As a passionate PE teacher, he designs engaging, standards-based activities that promote movement, teamwork, and character development for every student. His creative games—like Swamp Ball and Bulldog PE Champions—make fitness fun while reinforcing Georgia PE standards.
Beyond the gym, Coach Furtado leads the Lady Rebel Basketball program at Effingham County High School, where he’s known for building a legacy of excellence, culture, and mentorship. He also hosts the Championship Vision Podcast, connecting coaches nationwide to share best practices and inspire growth.
Coach Furtado is deeply committed to community engagement, organizing clinics, recognition programs, and outreach initiatives that unite families, schools, and sponsors.
